Hollow glass mainly includes rubber strip type insulating glass and aluminum strip type insulating glass. In addition to some similarities in the technological process, the placing process is basically the same. There are some differences in the assembly of rubber strip type insulating glass and aluminum strip type insulating glass.

Rubber strip type hollow glass assembly:

(1) Requirements for the environment: the processing temperature of rubber strip hollow glass should be between 10-20 degrees in winter, and between 20-30 degrees in summer.

(2) Relative humidity requirements: Because the desiccant of rubber strip type hollow glass is powdery, the desiccant plays a slower role after being evenly mixed with glue, so the relative humidity of the assembly area of rubber strip should be ensured to be slightly lower.

Aluminum strip type hollow glass assembly:

(1) Requirements for the environment: the temperature should also be between 10-30 degrees

(2) Relative humidity requirements: the relative humidity requirements of this hollow glass are slightly lower, and the normal condition is ok. However, it should be noted that the desiccant should choose the qualified products of regular manufacturers to ensure the effective use of desiccant. After the desiccant is opened, it is best to use up within 24 hours, because of the large permeability of polysulfide glue, poor sealing, so we should use double sealing.

Placement of hollow glass:

Whether the placement of hollow glass is correct or not will also have an impact on the final quality of insulating glass. Whether in production, transportation or storage at the site, the design requirements of the first stacking frame should take into account the characteristics of insulating glass, and the stacking frame should have a certain inclination. But the bottom plane and the side should always be kept 90 degrees, so as to ensure that the two glass bottom edges of the insulating glass can be placed vertically on the stacking rack. In addition, it should be noted that the bottom of the glass should not be stained with oil, lime and other compatibers, because they will produce different degrees of erosion on the second sealant of the insulating glass, thus affecting the sealing performance of the insulating glass.
