Super white glass is a kind of transparent material with ultra high light transmittance. In addition to being extremely transparent, it has excellent physical and mechanical properties. The glass is used in a variety of applications, including car windshields and precision electronics. Its characteristics make it ideal for interior design and other high-end applications. Here are some of the most common uses for ultra-white glass. In addition to high-end applications, ultra-white glass is used in domestic and industrial doors, as well as a variety of building materials.

The preparation of the super white glass beads involves a rotary furnace containing a barrel made of heat-resistant stainless steel. The process aims to reduce the effect of iron oxide on the whiteness of glass beads by 50 to 80 percent. It also minimizes the effect of barium on refractories.

Super white glass beads are also called high refractive index glass beads. The surface of these glass beads contains no impurities and is very bright. The glass beads have a melting point of about 1,200 degrees Celsius. Their refractive index, brightness, and chemical stability make them a viable option for industrial production.

Mirror glass is another example of super white glass. This kind of glass is a more homogeneous glass with fewer impurities than ordinary glass. It also self-destructs after tempering. Commonly used in precision instruments, pressure explosion-proof vessels, ships, petrochemical, reaction kettle, etc.

Another kind of super white glass is low-iron glass. These glasses have a low iron content, a common impurity in ordinary glass, which can cause the glass to change color and reduce light transmittance when heated. They are perfect for solar panels because they have the highest transmittance.
Low iron glass is also called water white or super white transparent. It contains less than one percent iron oxide. This type of glass is highly reflective, transmitting about 91 percent of the light. It has many different grades. It can be used for almost any application.
