Double silver low E glass is a type of glass with a very thin coating of silver on the surface. The coating is microscopic thin, hundreds of times thinner than a human hair. There are several types of low-radiation glass on the market today. There are mainly three kinds of low E glass: single silver, double silver and triple silver. Each type of low-radiation glass is used for different purposes. While the single version is primarily used for heating, the dual version is used for cooling. Double silver low E glass can block more solar radiation because of its Low shading factor.

The two main advantages of double-silver low E glass are better energy efficiency and the ability to effectively prevent heat from escaping through Windows. Double-silver Low-E glass is also very economical in the long run. Since it is more efficient, it is likely to recoup the initial investment in a short time.

Other benefits include being able to block out the heat outside, which can be a big help in colder climates. In addition, it can be installed in homes that have been replaced with glass Windows.
