Laminated glass is a kind of safety breaking glass made of glass and film processed by high temperature and high pressure process. It can be widely used in doors and Windows of all kinds of buildings, curtain walls of high-rise buildings, indoor partition, daylighting canopy design, ceiling and other aspects. It is one of the favorite glass materials of designers.

The main intermediate material of laminated glass is film, and the main types of film include PVB, SGP, EVA, PU, etc. PVB is one of the films with high cost performance, stable performance and more applications. The film is not only one color, can be transparent, milky white, gray, blue, green, pink and other colors of choice, can be customized to have a variety of colors both safe and artistic color glass.

The advantages of laminated glass are mainly reflected in three aspects:

1. Sound insulation performance is good: laminated glass intermediate film using PVB film, natural filtering acoustic performance, its principle is to reduce the vibration amplitude of sound to reduce the volume of transmission. In the vicinity of noise, the use of laminated glass is a better choice. Even if the noise is more, choose - a film thickness of 1.14mm laminated glass can be improved.

2. Good safety performance: double glass protection, impact resistance is better than ordinary glass. Even in the case of a large range of gravity impact, it can keep the glass without splashing to maintain the overall characteristics.

3. UV protection ability is strong: PVB intermediate film has a good UV absorption capacity is based on scientific tests, data show that PVB film can absorb more than 99% of the UV, so as to reduce the solar heat into the room, protect indoor furniture, textiles, art and other furnishings, to avoid direct fading aging situation.

The thicker the laminated glass film thickness, the stronger the sound insulation, UV protection and other functions, the darker the color of the film, the lower the light transmittance.
