As we all know, the application of hollow glass not only improves the heat and sound insulation effect of buildings, but also simplifies the structural design of (central) air conditioning and supporting ventilation facilities, which not only reduces the construction cost, but also actually increases the practical space in the building. In addition, the use of laminated hollow glass on high-rise buildings can greatly enhance the building's ability to withstand the damage caused by tornadoes or strong typhoons.

The application of hollow glass is constantly expanding, and the safety and quality requirements of insulating glass are becoming higher and higher. How to grasp the opportunity of market development and provide high quality and reliable insulating glass has become a hot topic for insulating glass manufacturers.

The basic property and characteristic of insulating glass is that it has a dry sealed cavity. If the seal does not meet the requirements, the drying nature cannot be guaranteed, dew and frost will follow, and the hollow glass will completely fail.

The sealing of hollow glass must be guaranteed by the double channel sealing production process, and the butyl sealant in the double channel sealing plays the leading role in sealing, and the polysulfide glue or silicone glue plays a very important role in auxiliary sealing, buffering and protection because of its good elasticity. The two complement each other and are indispensable.

The quality of each seal depends on the selected sealing raw materials, on the other hand, glue equipment and correct production practices also play a vital role. Only the organic combination of the two can ensure that the position and thickness of butyl adhesive coating as well as the mixing ratio and curing time of polysulfide adhesive or silicone adhesive meet the requirements. In addition, when the two seals are carried out, the vertical sealing production process can completely avoid the concave phenomenon on the surface of the hollow glass caused by the horizontal sealing after flat pressing.
